The FIZZ is designed to provide the pilot with the most intuitive level of handling possible. Progressive response to brake inputs allows speedwing for stable flight and precision without twitchy or unstable flight behaviour.
The profile and construction allow the miniwing to remain controllable throughout turbulence with an exceptional level of passive safety. Roll and pitch remain neutral even when flown through rough air, allowing all levels of pilot to manage remain in control.
An extensive range of sizes gives pilots the flexibility to choose the perfect miniwing to match your experience, goals and weight range. A simple riser and line layout is optimised for ease of use with lines developed for longevity in harsh environments and when using skis.
Outstanding pitch and roll stability throughout the launch phase and a long brake travel make launching on skis a breeze. Challenging foot launches are aided by the easy handling and gentle inflation of the speedwing.
A 2 riser layout vastly reduces tangles and setup time. Incorrect setup is easily identified visually by pilots of all levels and launching is simplified, essential for pilots taking to the snow for the first time with a speedwing. Line consumption and the risk of knots is reduced following extensive testing and prototyping of line configurations and materials. Unsheathed lines allow for damage resulting from ski edges to be easily identified, essential in a learning scenario.
A long progressive brake travel create a wing well suited to pilots taking to the air for the first time or learning to adapt to ski launches. The highly progressive travel allows pilots of all levels to make fine inputs yet prevents new pilots from over-controlling the miniwing.
We developed a profile and line layout to provide incredible collapse resistance. Smooth reinflation behaviour following accidental unloading provides forgiving behaviour on skis.
