Born of decades experience in the free-flight world and a desire to break the mould of what’s possible on steep terrain – The Level Wings brand was founded by François Bon and Malcolm Wood. Driven by a combined vision of wings which respond more intuitively, accurately, and predictably so lines never thought possible could be explored with confidence. A style specific to François Bon since designing the very first commercial speed wing, the Level Wings canopies adhere to a strong philosophy of handling and response over gimmicks or unproven design profiles.
Francois Bon
As one of the pioneers of Speedriding and Speedflying, François specialized in mini-wings from the sport’s inception, and developed the first dedicated wings and harnesses.

- Cross Country pilot in the World Cup in the 90’s

- World Premieres in Speedriding and Speedfying at Mont Blanc, Eiger, Aconcagua, Grandes Jorasses, Elbrus, Chilean volcanoes, the Mount Cook range, and many others in the Alps.
- Ex Pilot / developer / designer at Flying Planet, Aerodyne, Gin Gliders, co-founder of Néo, before founding the Level Wings brand.

In 2021 Lionel joined Level Wings and uses now his knowledge to work on the wing range with François Bon and takes care of paraglider certifications.
Rachelle McEwen

Rachelle is passionate about flying and the outdoors which has led her to be a speedrider, cross-country, hike & fly, and acrobatics paragliding pilot among many outdoor pursuits internationally. She is also paragliding instructor and experienced in business management, and is excited to join the LEVEL Wings crew as Sales Director/Export Sales Manager.

David Sougey
Sales France
David is Ultralite pilot and paraglider since first ages. He flew cross country competitions in the early 90’s, and is flying all over the world since. David knows very well the French scene as he has a long carreer of instructor, and assists the brand as Sales rep in FR language, and gives his precious advises to his long time friend Francois as partner of the European distribution company.

Tanguy is a highly talented speedflying and riding pilot with such positive energy, stoke, and communication skills, that we are happy to have him join the Level Wings Crew. Tanguy joins the Sales Team with Rachelle and David, will now manage the Team Pilots, assist in content creation and much more.

Test Center
Cédric is a hyperactive and insatiable sports man, and boxing coach. This ulm pilot, paraglider, paramotorist, speedflyer, parachutist, wingsuiter and basejumper has always been an adventure companion.
As a qualified mini-wing paragliding instructor, he will help you in your tests of Level Wings products in his living area.
