Keep the Spirit.

The Flame 2 keeps the innovative, accessible and playful spirit of its iconic first version, offering access to miniwing flight and pure speedflying for all.

The Flame 2 offers the same fun and intuitive handling, and goes further in responsiveness, speed, dive and precision. It preserves the essential balance between performance and pleasure, while integrating recent developments in profiles and construction.

FLAT LAUNCH TRAJECTORY

For challenging launches and low aspect terrain

Reduced weight over it’s predecessor for faster response, easier launches, and lower pack volume.

Intuitive launch behaviour for the highest summits, strong wind soaring, and everything in between.

Long brake range for precise inputs and a powerful flare.

Innovations

Profile and line layout

Optimised to provide incredible collapse resistance. We took our experience in developing some of the industries most iconic speed-wings to develop a profile giving the pilot complete confidence at all flight configurations.

Long brake range

Allows for precise piloting into tight landing sites or technical descents. It’s progressive travel responds to pilot inputs more intuitively, without dead spots in the brake range which is common on mini-wings.
Firm and reassuring pressure and feedback from the brakes prevents new pilots from over piloting the wing and allows experienced pilots to gain greater feedback from the wing and fly close to its flight limits with confidence.

Safety

Isn’t just about passive characteristics at Levelwings. We took our experience in high altitude mountaineering flights to evaluate all areas of a mini-wing that contribute to its safety. Giving you the confidence to fly from the worlds most demanding summits, to discovering untouched soaring locations.

Short line length

And long progressive brakes travel allow precision and handling reminiscent of significantly smaller wings. A no-compromise approach to the handling enables safe piloting under a range of conditions.
